Day 1 | Departure

Day 2 | Madrid
Take in the sights of the capital and explore Madrid de los Austrias on foot. Stroll through la Puerta de Sol, la Plaza Mayor and visit el Palacio Real. Try a tapa or two at San Miguel Market! Enjoy an Xperitas welcome dinner. Meals Included: Dinner
Day 3 | Madrid
Enjoy an all-day excursion to Segovia. Explore everything that this truly historic city has to offer, including the 2,000-year-old Roman aqueduct and the Alcázar, which inspired the Disney castle in Cinderella. Visit el Monasterio de El Escorial, the traditional crypt of the kings and queens of Spain for 500 years. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 4 | Madrid
Visit el Museo del Prado and make sure to see Velázquez’s masterpiece Las Meninas. Spend some time in el Parque del Buen Retiro and stroll past el Palacio de Cristal. Rent a boat to row around the man-made lake and try a granizado de limón. Meals Included: Breakfast
Days 5 - 6 | Sevilla
On your way to Sevilla stop in the ancient city of Toledo, la Ciudad de las Tres Culturas. Once in Sevilla, visit la Plaza de España and el Parque Maria Luisa. The next day visit el Catedral and climb to the top of la Giralda to take in a breathtaking view of the city. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 7 | Granada
Head to Granada and walk through the historic streets. See for yourself the influence that 800 years of Moorish occupation had on Spain’s art and architecture, language, and cuisine. Later that evening enjoy an authentic flamenco show in the caves of Sacromonte. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 8 | Family Stay
In the morning, enjoy a guided tour of the stunning Alhambra and the lush El Generalife gardens. Set off to spend six days with your familia española where you will learn the Spanish way of life. Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner
Days 9 - 13 | Family Stay
Immerse yourself in the Spanish culture by experiencing everyday life with your host family! It’s your opportunity to use your language skills in real-life situations and make new friends. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 14 | Barcelona
It is time to say adiós to your host family. At last, you are off to Barcelona to explore el Barri Gótic and stroll along la Rambla. Visit the Museu Picasso to see one of the most extensive collections of artwork by Pablo Picasso. Meals Included: Breakfast
Day 15 | Barcelona
Visit the astounding Sagrada Familia Cathedral, the yet unfinished Antoni Gaudí masterpiece. Then visit Park Güell and take in all the beautiful mosaic masterpieces. Afterward, stroll the Passeig de Gràcia and enjoy Barcelona's unique architecture, including some more of Gaudí’s masterpieces, Casa Batlló y Casa Milà. Lastly, enjoy a farewell dinner. Day 16 | Return
Transfer to the Barcelona airport and return to the United States with lifelong memories! Meals Included: Breakfast

Spring Payment Schedule
Billing and Payments: Xperitas will email a bill for the final payment approximately three weeks before it is due. For all other payments please refer to this schedule. A payment reminder will be sent to you via email a week before a scheduled payment is due. Payments can be made by credit/debit card via the Xperitas portal or by check or money order payable to Xperitas.
Cancellations: Any cancellation made through October 1, 2025 will receive a refund of the amount paid minus a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations made after this date will be calculated on an individual basis at the time of cancellation and follow the schedule and terms below.
