Latin Language Immersion Programs
In addition to visiting culturally and historically significant landmarks as part of our Latin immersion programs, we also provide Latin stories and cultural readings to accompany our itineraries thanks to our partnership with Hands Up Education and their Suburani Latin textbook series. This allows students to deepen their understanding of the ancient world and to strengthen the connections between site visits and activities while abroad and their Latin curriculum at home.
The intensive study of sites, practices, beliefs, and writings of Ancient Rome gives students a deeper understanding of its present-day relevance but will also allow students to consider life in modern Italy and gain critical insight into perspectives outside of their own.
