14-Day Program | This unique French and Spanish language immersion experience begins for your student group upon your arrival in Paris! Explore all of Paris including the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower while French students practice thier language skills immersed in French culture. From there your student group splits off to enjoy a few days with their host family and learn what French or Spanish life is really like. Our unforgettable Family Stay Experience® allows students to become temporary locals and appreciate everyday life in France or Spain. Language skills learned in the classroom come to life in this in-depth language immersion travel experience. Next you are off to Barcelona, The "City of Gaudí" where Spanish language students get to practice their skills. While in Spain’s most cosmopolitan city, visit the Museu Picasso, and ramble along La Rambla, a pedestrian wonderland of shops and street performers. All travel dates are tentative, pending teacher approval and airline confirmation.

Day 1 | Departure

Enroute to Paris, France. Meals Included: None

Day 2 | Paris

Arrive in Paris and spend the day in the French capital with your teachers to see the places, monuments, quartiers and museums you’ve been learning about in your French classes. Discover the city’s most impressive monuments, from the magnificent Arc de Triomphe at the top of the Champs-Élysées, to Napoleon’s final resting place at Les Invalides, to the Gothic façade of Notre-Dame. Finish the day with an Xperitas welcome dinner. Meals Included: Dinner

Day 3 | Paris

Continue to discover the sights and sounds of the French capital with your teachers. View Paris from a different perspective with a boat ride on the Seine River. Visit the Louvre and discover the many famous masterpieces that call it home. From its beginnings as a royal fortress to its current status as the world’s most visited art museum, the Louvre has long been at the center of Parisian culture and home to a collection of 35,000 works of art from around the world. Day 4 | Paris

Enjoy the Place du Tertre in Montmartre. There, you'll find artists covering every square inch of the square. Ascend the Eiffel tower which is nicknamed “the iron lady”! It is both a global cultural icon of France and one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest building in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world! Day 5 | En route to Family Stay

Explore Paris at your own pace, perhaps checking out Sainte-Chapelle, a Gothic chapel adorned with 1,113 dazzling stained-glass windows. Then, hop on the train and travel to your family stay community. Meet your host family and get ready for your total immersion experience. Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Days 6 - 10 | Family Stay

Immerse yourself in the French culture by experiencing everyday life with your host family! It’s your opportunity to use your language skills in real-life situations and make new friends. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 11 | Barcelona

Say au revoir/adiós to your host family in the morning. You’re off to Barcelona, the “City of Gaudi”. Spend the day exploring on foot. Walk along La Rambla and enjoy finding your way around the labyrinth that is the Barri Gótic. Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 12 | Barcelona

Today is the day to take in all of Antoni Gaudi’s masterpieces. Visit the astounding Sagrada Familia Cathedral and then head to Park Güell to see his beautiful mosaic masterpieces. In the evening, enjoy a flamenco show. Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 13 | Barcelona

Spend your final day exploring Barcelona. Stroll along the Passeig de Gràcia and be sure to spot Casa Batlló y Casa Milà! Visit the Museu Picasso and end your trip with a farewell dinner. Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 14 | Return

Transfer to the airport for your return to the United States. Meals Included: Breakfast

Spring Payment Schedule

Payment and cancellation schedule:

Billing and Payments: Xperitas will email a bill for the final payment approximately three weeks before it is due. For all other payments please refer to this schedule. A payment reminder will be sent to you via email a week before a scheduled payment is due. Payments can be made by credit/debit card via the Xperitas portal or by check or money order payable to Xperitas.

Cancellations: Any cancellation made through October 1, 2024 will receive a refund of the amount paid minus a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations made after this date will be calculated on an individual basis at the time of cancellation and follow the schedule and terms below.

Enrollment Information

*Prices are based on a minimum group size of 24 students. When the minimum group size is not reached, a small-group supplement will apply. Final prices are determined by dates, air arrangements, family stay communities and other program components as confirmed by Xperitas, as well as the total size of the group and number of leaders at the time of final billing. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel prices, exchange rates, and airfare costs beyond the control of Xperitas.

All activities to be paid on-site using entrance fee allowance provided, unless listed in Program Inclusions.
