Day 1 | Departure

Day 2 | Paris

Bienvenue en France! Revel in the enchanting “City of Lights” while you stroll down the Champs-Elysées, enjoy the priceless treasures of the Louvre, visit the awesome Sacré-Cœur atop Montmartre and enjoy a stunning view of the city below. In the evening, enjoy a group welcome dinner. Meals Included: Dinner

Day 3 | Paris

Take the métro to the Place St. Michel and lunch on your own in the quaint Latin Quarter. Enjoy afternoon visits to la Cathédrale de Notre Dame, la Sainte Chapelle and La Conciergerie. Learn the history l’île de la Cité, where the city of Paris was founded. Climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower and get a bird’s eye view of the city. Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 4 | Paris

Visit the Musée d’Orsay and take in its wide collection of impressionist art. Descend into the depths of the city and see eerie ossuary of Les Catacombes de Paris, which houses the skeletal remains of more than six million of Paris’ early inhabitants. Take in the city by night during your Bateaux Mouches Seine river cruise. Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 5 | En route to Family Stay

Take a train to either the city of Lyon or Toulon and begin your five day family stay! Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Days 6 - 9 | Family Stay

Put your language skills to work while experiencing everyday life with a French family! Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 10 | Nice

Say au revoir to your host family and head to Nice, the capital of the Côte d’Azur. Unwind and get acquainted with Nice, one of the crown jewels of the Côte d’Azur. Stroll through the Place Rossetti, the heart of this city or visit the Promenade des Anglais and la Vielle Ville with its maze of narrow pedestrian streets and vividly colored buildings. Meals Included: Breakfast

Day 11 | Nice

Take the train a mere 20 minutes down the coast and visit the small principality of Monaco for the day. See the changing of the guards at the Palais du Prince and walk through the narrow streets of Vieux Monaco, overlooking the beautiful harbors. Return to Nice to enjoy a group farewell dinner on final evening in France. Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Day 12 | Return

Transfer to the Nice airport and return to the U.S. with lifelong memories! Meals Included: None

Spring Payment Schedule

Payment and cancellation schedule:

Billing and Payments: Xperitas will email a bill for the final payment approximately three weeks before it is due. For all other payments please refer to this schedule. A payment reminder will be sent to you via email a week before a scheduled payment is due. Payments can be made by credit/debit card via the Xperitas portal or by check or money order payable to Xperitas.

Cancellations: Any cancellation made through October 1, 2024 will receive a refund of the amount paid minus a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations made after this date will be calculated on an individual basis at the time of cancellation and follow the schedule and terms below.

Enrollment Information

*Prices are based on a minimum group size of 10 students. When the minimum group size is not reached, a small-group supplement will apply. Final prices are determined by dates, air arrangements, family stay communities and other program components as confirmed by Xperitas, as well as the total size of the group and number of leaders at the time of final billing. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel prices, exchange rates, and airfare costs beyond the control of Xperitas.
All activities to be paid on-site using entrance fee allowance provided, unless listed in Program Inclusions.
