Day 1 | Departure

En route to München. Included Meals: None

Day 2 | München

Spend three days exploring Bavaria’s beautiful "Stadt mit Herz". Stroll through the Altstadt and don’t miss the "Glockenspiel am Marienplatz". Enjoy an Xperitas Welcome Dinner.

Day 3 | München

Visit the baroque Schloss Nymphenburg. Find tasty dishes for lunch at the lively Viktualienmarkt. Tour Olympic Park and visit the Deutsches Museum or the BMW Museum.

Day 4 | München

Enjoy a day visiting one of King Ludwig’s castles and experience the charm of Alpine villages like Füssen or Garmisch-Partenkichen.

Day 5 | Augsburg

Travel to the oldest city in Bavaria – to Augsburg! See the beautiful architecture and rich culture of this unique city. You will take a guided tour of the Fuggerei, a “town within a town” and the very first social housing complex in the world dating back to the 16th century that is still used today.

Days 6 - 11 | Family Stay

This is what you’ve been waiting for! Spend six memorable days with your Deutsche Familie, experiencing everyday life, using your language skills in real-life situations and making new friends.

Days 12 - 14 | Berlin

You won’t want to leave, but it’s time to bid your host family farewell and head to the capital! Visit the Brandenburger Tor and Checkpoint Charlie, while pedaling your way around Berlin on a guided Fahrradtour. Get to know more of Berlin than the typical tourist sights. Learn about Berlin’s history of migration and diversity of lifestyles and identities on a guided walking tour. Don’t miss the 360-degree view from the glass dome of the Reichstag. Ride the S-Bahn from Bahnhof Zoo to Alexanderplatz. Explore the historic streets of Mitte and modern Potsdamer Platz. Visit Potsdam and marvel at Schloss Sanssouci. Reflect on the last two weeks with your Mitreisenden at your Xperitas farewell dinner on your last evening. Included Meals: Days 12 - 14 Breakfast | Day 14 Dinner

Day 15 | Return

A payment reminder will be sent to you via email a week before a scheduled payment is due. Payments can be made by credit/debit card via the Xperitas portal or by check or money order payable to Xperitas.

Cancellations: Any cancellation made through October 1, 2023 will receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this date will be calculated on an individual basis at the time of cancellation and follow the schedule and terms below.

*Prices are based on a minimum group size of 18 students. When the minimum group size is not reached, a small-group supplement will apply. All activities to be paid on-site using entrance fee allowance provided, unless listed in Program Inclusions. The order of this itinerary, and all itinerary items, are subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances that may arise prior to or during international travel.
