Salut la France & Encantada España is a 14-day educational travel experience that combines French and Spanish language learning with authentic cultural immersion across two of Europe’s most inspiring destinations. Beginning in Paris before continuing through a Family Stay Experience® and concluding in Barcelona, students build confidence using both languages in meaningful everyday situations.

From exploring world-famous landmarks to sharing meals and daily routines with local host families, students develop practical language skills through genuine cultural exchange. Classroom learning is strengthened by real conversations, independent exploration, and experiences that encourage curiosity, confidence, and global awareness.

Price

  • $3,899 per student PLUS cost of international flights*
  • Ask about pricing to add a travel coordinator to your program.
  • For every six students the cost of one leader is included in the price.
  • For every enrolled student on your program, there is a $50 leader stipend to help leaders offset expenses while abroad.
  • Students can save $200 with Our Early Bird Discount!
    *Travelers do not need to arrange their own air. Air travel is included in the program, but the cost will be added once the group air contract is confirmed. Price is valid for 2027

  • Public transportation allowance of $50 per student

  • Airfare variances due to contract changes or group size

  • May provide cultural context but is not a certified academic guide
  • Supported by local guides at specific sites

Day 1 | Departure
Depart for France and begin your European language immersion adventure.

Day 2 | Paris
Arrive in Paris and explore famous landmarks including the Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides, and Notre-Dame before enjoying an Xperitas welcome dinner.

Day 3 | Paris
Visit the Louvre and enjoy a Seine River cruise while discovering the history and culture of the French capital.

Day 4 | Paris
Explore Montmartre and Place du Tertre, where local artists and cafés capture the spirit of Paris.

Day 5 | Family Stay
Enjoy free time in Paris before travelling to your Family Stay community to meet your host family.

Days 6–10 | Family Stay
Experience everyday French life while living with your host family and practicing your language skills through daily activities.

Day 11 | Barcelona
Travel to Barcelona and discover La Rambla and the historic Gothic Quarter.

Day 12 | Barcelona
Visit Gaudí’s architectural masterpieces, including the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, before an evening flamenco performance.

Day 13 | Barcelona
Explore Barcelona’s famous boulevards, visit the Picasso Museum, and celebrate your journey with an Xperitas farewell dinner.

Day 14 | Return
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Important Details

Prices are based on a minimum group size of 24 students. If the minimum is not met and your group cannot be combined, a small-group supplement will apply. Final pricing is determined by confirmed dates, air arrangements, family stay communities, program components, group size, and number of leaders at final billing.

Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel prices, exchange rates, and airfare costs beyond the control of Xperitas.

The order of itinerary items may change due to unforeseen circumstances prior to or during the program.
