Experience one of our most immersive travel packages to Argentina, designed specifically for student groups seeking meaningful cultural connection and real-world language practice. Argentina en mi Corazón introduces students to the vibrant energy of Buenos Aires before transitioning to the welcoming rhythms of daily life in Córdoba through our signature Family Stay Experience®.
This Spanish immersion in Argentina brings together guided sightseeing, classroom learning, and authentic interaction with local communities. Students attend Spanish classes, live with host families, and explore historic neighborhoods, cultural landmarks, and regional traditions alongside expert local guides who are native Spanish speakers.
As a long-standing non-profit organization, Xperitas provides personalized support from planning through return. This Spanish immersion program in Argentina prioritizes small group experiences, cultural confidence-building, and meaningful engagement. We help students not just visit Argentina, but truly experience it.
*Travelers do not need to arrange their own air. Air travel is included in the program, but the cost will be added once the group air contract is confirmed. Price is valid for 2027 departures.

What’s Part of the Program?
Programs are led by experienced, local guides with deep cultural knowledge. The role of guides is as follows:
Day 1 | Depart
En route to Buenos Aires.

Day 2 | Buenos Aires
Arrive in Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel. Begin your adventures with a walking tour of the bustling city of Buenos Aires. While touring the city you’ll see el Teatro Colón, el Obelisco, la Avenida 9 de Julio, la Plaza de Mayo, la Casa Rosada, la Catedral, el Cabildo*, and la Florida.
*Closed on Mondays

Day 3 | Buenos Aires
Explore the city on a bus panorámico and enjoy sights such as La Bombonera soccer stadium, La Boca neighborhood, and Bosques de Palermo.

Day 4 | Buenos Aires
Take a bus to Tigre and enjoy a boat excursion and the Puerto de Frutos market. Return to Buenos Aires for a tango show.

Day 5 | Buenos Aires
Visit the Argentinian ranch La Florita and enjoy a horse show, traditional asado barbecue, and traditional dance performance.

Day 6 | En Route to Córdoba
Visit the San Telmo neighborhood, Puerto Madero, la Reserva Ecológica, and the museum ship Fragata Sarmiento. Then take an overnight bus from Buenos Aires to Córdoba.

Day 7 | Family Stay
Immerse yourself in Argentinian culture by experiencing everyday life with your host family. Practice your language skills and build lasting connections.

Day 8 | Family Stay
Attend a Spanish class, followed by a bus panorámico city tour. Enjoy a walking tour featuring la Catedral, el Cabildo, el Museo de la Memoria, la Peatonal, and el Palacio Ferreyra.

Day 9 | Family Stay
After Spanish class, visit Alta Gracia and la Estancia Jesuítica. Enjoy a picnic at Lago Tajamar.

Day 10 | Family Stay
Enjoy your final Spanish class, visit a local school, and spend one last evening with your host family.

Day 11 | En Route
Transfer to the Córdoba airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires, connecting onward to the United States.

Day 12 | Return
Arrive in the United States with a lifetime of memories.

Prices are based on a minimum group size of 10 students. If the minimum is not met and your group cannot be combined, a small-group supplement will apply. Final pricing is determined by confirmed dates, air arrangements, family stay communities, program components, group size, and number of leaders at final billing.
Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel prices, exchange rates, and airfare costs beyond the control of Xperitas.
The order of itinerary items may change due to unforeseen circumstances prior to or during the program.
Know that your child will grow in so many ways from this experience. The program has just the right amount of structure and freedom for the kids to explore in a safe and enjoyable manner. The family stay, while intimidating at first glance, is a unique and amazing opportunity for the kids to really experience the culture that they are being immersed in.
The partners in Costa Rica are fabulous! Everything was well-organized, and kids were always engaged. Our guide, Jimmy, truly is an educator and ambassador of his country. All of the students and leaders really enjoyed his personality, love of his country and knowledge. The Family Stay Experience was also very wonderful!
