Belle Belgique et Douce France is a 14-day educational travel experience that introduces students to the distinct cultures of Belgium and France while strengthening their French through authentic immersion. Beginning in Brussels before continuing to Paris and a French Family Stay, students experience how language connects communities with different histories, traditions, and identities.
From exploring the heart of the European Union to experiencing Paris student travel firsthand and sharing daily life with a local host family, students gain confidence using French in meaningful situations. Classroom learning is reinforced through real conversations, cultural exchange, and independent exploration.
Whether admiring the architecture of Grand Place, discovering world-famous art in the Louvre, or enjoying dinner with a host family, students return home with stronger language skills and a deeper appreciation for the French-speaking world.

Day 1 | Departure
Depart for Brussels and begin your European language immersion.

Day 2 | Brussels
Arrive in Belgium and discover the historic Grand Place, visit the famous Manneken Pis, and sample a traditional Belgian waffle before joining your group for an Xperitas welcome dinner.

Day 3 | Brussels
Visit the European Parliament to learn about the European Union before spending time in Parc du Cinquantenaire and exploring one of Brussels’ renowned art museums.

Day 4 | Paris
Travel by train to Paris and begin exploring with a visit to the Louvre. Later, stroll along the Champs-Élysées and enjoy free time to experience the city’s café culture.

Day 5 | Paris
Explore the artistic neighbourhood of Montmartre, admire the views from Sacré-Cœur, and experience the lively atmosphere around Centre Pompidou.

Day 6 | Versailles
Spend the day discovering the Palace of Versailles, its magnificent gardens, and Marie Antoinette’s estate before returning to Paris to visit Notre-Dame and Sainte-Chapelle.

Day 7 | Family Stay
Travel to your Family Stay community and meet your French host family, beginning an authentic language immersion experience.

Days 8–12 | Family Stay
Experience everyday life with your host family while developing language skills through genuine conversations, shared meals, and daily routines.

Day 13 | Paris
Return to Paris for a final day of sightseeing, shopping, or independent exploration before celebrating your journey with a farewell dinner and Seine River cruise.

Day 14 | Return
Transfer to the airport for your journey home.

Prices are based on a minimum group size of 24 students. If the minimum is not met and your group cannot be combined, a small-group supplement will apply. Final pricing is determined by confirmed dates, air arrangements, family stay communities, program components, group size, and number of leaders at final billing.
Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel prices, exchange rates, and airfare costs beyond the control of Xperitas.

My son had a fantastic time. He wanted to go back before he was even home. The Family Stay Experience was great for him. Hiking, youth group, family birthday party, relaxing at the family home, hanging out with his host brother’s friends and checking out the city. He really enjoyed the complete package of this trip!
He would not have taken French for four years if this trip wasn’t planned. And now he is taking a fifth year of French. My son has always been a saver. But having to save and earn money to pay for the majority of this trip was a life-long lesson. He is hoping to visit France and other countries in the future.
For any students who are unsure about pursuing an immersion program, I can only recommend giving it a try. My trip to France with Xperitas brought a new dimension to a language and culture I hadn’t experienced firsthand. Exploring new places and cultures abroad has given me some of my best memories and best friends, and has certainly played a role in shaping my goals for the future.
