Day 1 | Departure
Upon arrival in San José, transfer to your hotel. Meals Included: Dinner
Day 2 | Arenal
Visit a local market on your way to beautiful Arenal. Paint your own traditional oxcart wheel in an artisan workshop in Sarchí. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3 | Arenal
Spend the morning at the majestic La Fortuna waterfall and take a dip in its refreshing waters! Then head to the beautiful organic farm where you’ll learn about the tropical plants and traditional techniques of the area. Here you will participate in a reforestation project where you will have a chance to plant a tree in your school’s honor. After that enjoy a delicious freshly made lunch. Cap off the evening with a visit to local hot springs! Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4 | Family Stay
Cruise through the canopies as you zipline through the trees! Then, it’s time to meet your local host family! After transfering to the family stay community you’ll be free to enjoy the afternoon and meals with your familia tica. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Days 5 - 8 | Family Stay
Enjoy meals and time with your host family. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 9 | Return
Transfer to the airport and head back to the United States with a lifetime of memories! Meals Included: Breakfast

Spring Payment Schedule
Payment and cancellation schedule:
Billing and Payments: Xperitas will email a bill for the final payment approximately three weeks before it is due. For all other payments please refer to this schedule. A payment reminder will be sent to you via email a week before a scheduled payment is due. Payments can be made by credit/debit card via the Xperitas portal or by check or money order payable to Xperitas.
Cancellations: Any cancellation made through October 1, 2024 will receive a refund of the amount paid minus a $100 administrative fee. Cancellations made after this date will be calculated on an individual basis at the time of cancellation and follow the schedule and terms below.
