Traveling Teacher Resources

Getting ready for your program abroad is part of the adventure. Our downloadable student resources are designed to help you prepare with confidence, offering practical guides like Country Handbooks, Packing Lists, and Exploration Packets. Use these resources to learn more about your destination, plan what to bring, and start exploring the culture before you even depart.

This new five-module course is designed to prepare students for a successful program abroad, including the Family Stay Experience®. Completion of this course is required before travel. These units cover essential topics such as goal and expectation setting, destination-specific information, packing tips, and more. The course content draws on some fan-favorite Xperitas resources from years past but also includes new activities to help students get the most out of their experience abroad. Students can work through the course at their own pace, or group leaders can select activities to do together and discuss at pre-departure meetings.

Please note that due to security and privacy safeguards, many school and district-affiliated emails will not allow students to register for the course since it is hosted outside of the school/district. Please use a personal Gmail address to access the course materials. We are always working to improve our offerings, so thanks for your patience while we continue to develop this resource.
