Experience Peru from the Andes to Daily Family Life
Aventuras Andinas is a 13-day student travel experience designed to immerse participants in Peru’s history, landscapes, and living culture. This program combines guided exploration with meaningful local interaction for student groups seeking more than sightseeing alone.
Beginning in Lima and continuing through Cusco and the Sacred Valley, students explore archeological sites, ancient textile weaving techniques and iconic landmarks like Machu Picchu, while building real-world language skills. Spanish language immersion is reinforced through daily interactions with host families during Xperitas’ signature Family Stay Experience®, where students become temporary locals and engage in everyday Peruvian life.
This Spanish immersion program in Peru is led by experienced, Spanish-speaking guides and supported by Xperitas’ dedicated team from start to finish. The program emphasizes personal connection, cultural confidence, and long-lasting learning outcomes for both students and educators.

See What Teachers Say About Xperitas
Immersing students in the language and culture are keys to a successful trip overseas with students, and I can always count on our in-country Xperitas guides to communicate exclusively in the target language with our students while showing them a new culture.
The partners in Costa Rica are fabulous! Everything was well-organized, and kids were always engaged. Our guide, Jimmy, truly is an educator and ambassador of his country. All of the students and leaders really enjoyed his personality, love of his country and knowledge. The Family Stay Experience was also very wonderful!
Know that your child will grow in so many ways from this experience. The program has just the right amount of structure and freedom for the kids to explore in a safe and enjoyable manner. The family stay, while intimidating at first glance, is a unique and amazing opportunity for the kids to really experience the culture that they are being immersed in.
