After checking in to your hotel, explore the Altstadt and be sure to see the world-famous Glockenspiel am Marienplatz. In the evening, enjoy a traditional German welcome dinner at one of Munich's famous restaurants. | |

Day 3 | Munich |
Take a daytrip via train to the historic, medieval city of Nürnberg. Nürnberg is one of Germany's most prominent hubs for arts and culture and is known for its medieval walls, ancient castles, gingerbread cookies and Gothic churches. | |

Day 4 | Family Stay |
Visit the baroque Schloss Nymphenburg. Find tasty dishes for lunch at the lively Viktualienmarkt. Tour Olympic Park and visit the Deutsches Museum or the BMW Museum. In the afternoon, travel to your family stay community via train and spend your first night with your host family. |

Travel to Salzburg in Austria via train and enjoy a day in this beautiful, historic city near the Alps in a picturesque location on the Salzach river. On your way to Salzburg, stop at the beautiful Chiemsee and take a ferry to the island Herrenchiemsee. The island is home to one of King Ludwig's most impressive castles: Schloss Herrenchiemsee, which was modelled on Versaille. In the evening you return to Munich via train. | |

Travel to Hohenschwangau from Munich via train and see the famous Neuschwanstein castle. Enjoy a guided tour of the castle. In the evening you return to Munich. | |

Pricing
$4639-$4739 based on 10-14 students + 2 leaders
*Ranges based on estimated numbers of participants and leaders. Final prices are determined by dates, air arrangements, family stay communities and other program components as confirmed by Xperitas, as well as the total size of the group and number of leaders at the time of final billing. Prices are subject to change due to fluctuations in fuel prices, exchange rates, and airfare costs beyond the control of Xperitas.
The order of this itinerary and all itinerary items are subject to change based on unforeseen circumstances that may arise prior to or during the program.

Xperitas Financial Aid
Families with a household income of $60,000 or less qualify to receive financial aid. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and can be found at https://www.xperitas.org/language-immersion-programs/faq/financial-aid-for-students
Payment and Cancellation Schedule
Summer Programs 2024
Billing and Payments: Xperitas will email a bill for the final payment approximately three weeks before it is due. For all other payments please refer to this schedule. A payment reminder will be sent to you via email a week before a scheduled payment is due. Payments can be made by credit/debit card via the Xperitas portal or by check or money order payable to Xperitas.
Cancellations: Any cancellation made through October 15, 2023 will receive a full refund. Cancellations made after this date will be calculated on an individual basis at the time of cancellation and follow the schedule and terms below.
